Introduction

In a world where boys face pressure from toxic masculinity, societal expectations, and the noise of social media, Mvulana Camp offers a transformative space for growth. Elle Peut Naidim (EPN) hosted its first-ever Mvulana Camp, guiding boys through emotional, social, and personal development. At Mvulana Camp, boys meet men who have overcome the odds and peers from different backgrounds. They confront societal pressures, explore their emotions, and build the confidence, resilience, and leadership skills to become the men they are meant to be

Following the success of four powerful years of Msichana Camp, EPN created an intentional, safe spaces where boys can explore their emotions, develop confidence, and embrace their journey to manhood. Mvulana Camp was not just timely but necessary.

Why Mvulana Camp?

Boys today face challenges that are often overlooked:

What Is Mvulana Camp?

It is a five-day program which immerses boys in mentorship, reflection, and skill-building, creating opportunities to:

  • Create a Safe Space: Express emotions freely and learn that vulnerability is strength.

  • Build Confidence: Explore mental health, self-worth, peer pressure, and leadership.

  • Meet Positive Role Models: Male mentors share their journeys, showing that success and emotional growth go hand in hand.

  • Be Themselves: Embrace passions, interests, and individuality without societal constraints.
