Mentorship and Mindfulness for Teachers
At Elle Peut Naidim (EPN), we know that sustainable change in education begins with teachers. Love Before You Teach is our Train-the-Trainer (TOT) life skills mentorship program, we believe before a teacher can guide a child, they must first hold space for their heart. “Love Before You Teach” equips educators with the empathy, mindfulness, and skills to transform classrooms into places of healing, growth, and inspiration.
In collaboration with different schools, we work with passionate teachers through hands-on sessions that cover:
The foundations of Life Skills education (aligned with WHO standards and Tanzania’s Ministry of Education syllabus)
Practical guidance using EPN’s Life Skills Guideline & Manual, a toolkit built from years of experience mentoring adolescents
Mindfulness and self-awareness exercises, reminding teachers that before they can guide their students, they must first hold space for their own hearts
Why it’s called “Love Before You Teach”?
Because teaching is not just about content, it’s about connection. Teachers must first hold compassion for their students, and nurture their own hearts, before they can truly guide, inspire, and transform young lives.
Love Before You Teach recognizes that many students enter classrooms carrying invisible struggles, therefore, this program teaches educators that teaching is most powerful when grounded in care, empathy, and emotional presence. It’s not just a methodology, it’s a transformative approach that turns education into a healing, empowering, and inspiring experience for every child.
Through this program, teachers don’t just gain skills; they gain the capacity to nurture, inspire, and sustain change in the lives of the students and communities they serve.
